How do I pay for financial advice? Print E-mail
Written by Kathy Freeman
At Elements, we pride ourselves on our honesty and transparency – and that applies to the fees we charge you as much as anything else. Your first consultation with Elements will be free of charge.  During this initial meeting, we will find out about your current financial situation, your priorities in the short and long-term and what financial plans you already have in place.  We will then prepare a report with our recommendations.  Because Elements is fully independent, we have access to every financial product or service on the market, and our focus is on building long-term relationships with our clients.  So we will always offer you the best solution to meet your financial planning priorities. If you decide to appoint us as your adviser, we will discuss with you the best way of paying to make sure you reap maximum benefit from your financial planning.  The best choice between paying us an hourly fee (as you would an accountant or lawyer), Elements earning commissions on the products or services provided, or a combination of the two, will depend very much of your needs, and how we agree to meet them.    You will always receive a full and transparent breakdown of all costs and charges before you commit, and if there's anything you don't understand, we'll be happy to explain.
